To Promote Health and Fitness in Barry, yesterday I visited a 'Kangoo' fitness class held by Nikki Blyth. Nikki began taking part in Kangoo classes 5 years ago after being encouraged to do so by her sister. She explained "that at this time I’d never heard of it and didn't know what to expect. We put these funny boots with springs on our feet and then just tried to follow the instructor as best we could". After a few classes Nikki became hooked, and was soon attending the class regularly, leading to her eventually becoming an instructor. Nikki applies her own unique style to the class which she has named Abs ‘O’ Glute Fitness.
This low impact, high intensity class boosts the immune and lymphatic system, improves balance and posture, whilst being kind to the joints. A mixture of rebounding and conditioning moves provides an all over workout suitable for all fitness levels. Nikki goes on to say "The best part of it all are the loyal clients who I now call my friends and my family who support me by coming along to my classes which has bonded us closer than ever before! Even my 7 year old son Alfie has been on the smallest pair I have and had a go. It really is a class I would say to anyone to give it a try, bring your friends and family and enjoy one of the best classes around."
