Bette Sim

This is Bette Sim a 63 year old Barrian, who for the past 17 years has worked for Social Services. Throughout this time this lady has done a tremendous amount of work in helping the homeless and those in need. Bette has fostered 60 children in almost seventeen years. In October 2016 Craig's Corner was opened in Holton Road. Craig's Corner is a local fundraising shop which provides clothing and food to the homeless. At Christmas the shop gave £1000 to the homeless to purchase food and sleeping bags, as well as providing 48 food hampers to the needy in Barry. I accompanied Bette last night when she went to feed the homeless. Bette continues to do this in all weathers throughout the year. Bette is a compassionate and caring lady well deserving of mention in this project.
